February 4, 2024 | In celebration of Black History Month, The Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial Library hosts a tribute concert and conversation with Henry Threadgill, the Pulitzer Prize-winning jazz saxophonist. Henry Threadgill discusses his memoir, "Easily Slip Into Another World: A Life In Music" with co-author and jazz historian Brent Hayes Edwards. Jazz educator Paul Carr leads the conversation, and the Paul Carr Legacy Quartet provides tribute entertainment.
